As healthcare providers in Pittsburgh's south suburbs, our main focus has always been the long term health of our patients, our staff and the community at large. Therefore, based on the latest recommendations by Gov Wolf, The PA Dept of Health and the ADA/PDA we will continue to postpone all non-emergency care and cancel pre-existing appointments. We do not see this changing dramatically over the next 2-4 weeks. However, please note that we are here for you during this trying time and will continue to have limited hours of operation to provide emergency services that are limited to trauma or acute infection with significant pain and swelling. We also want you to know that, during this extended shutdown, we are using the time to make office modifications to keep both our patients and staff safe. These include the placement of physical barriers, use of electronic forms and kiosks for registration, additional protective barriers for staff, and improving our HVAC system to help create negative air pressure in the operatories.
You may also notice that we have gone paperless and, for those of you who have opted out of our messaging service via text or email, please note that we strongly urge you to reconnect as this will be the only way for you to receive your eForms link which will allow you to update forms which must be completed before arriving for your appointment!
Our team will continue to monitor the situation and provide updated information when warranted. We are asking patients to follow our Facebook page for the most current information.
Thank you for your continued trust in our office team to meet your needs. If you are having a problem please remember to call our office and leave a message or follow the prompts to be connected to Dr. Gurecka. Stay safe and stay healthy! Thank you for your patronage.
